THE INN AT POUND RIDGE
pound ridge, new york
2014
chef jean georges vongerichten
the renewal of the nineteenth century inn consisted of rebuilding the exterior structure, in addition to a complete gut renovation of the interior spaces. the urbane modernism yet rustic sensibility found at the inn at pound ridge by acclaimed chef jean georges vongerichten is achieved through the material selections of locally sourced barn boards and reclaimed wooden tables along with the preservation of exposed ceiling beams and leather upholstered bar banquette furnishings, all of which are custom designed for the restaurant.
